Take a Step

I can mold my future. Each day, each experience draws me to the next important step.

Some days it is harder than others to get going. So much to do, so many ”to do” lists. Then I remember, that I live here, today. I cannot change yesterday. tomorrow is but a dream. What I do and what I am TODAY is all that counts.

So the “to do” list can wait, a freind is on the phone and needs someone to hear her. A dog is lost and needs to find its home. My mom has a headache and needs me to massage her shoulders. The books, the dishes, they will wait. The living may not wait. The living may not be here tomorrow. Today is the day and the time that I have with them.

Time seems like the only gift that once given can not be taken back. Yet time can be regifted to another. So on this Misty day, the drizzle come down, the birds sang and called to be fed. This is a good day to live.
Peace and Blessings
Grace
