  • Do you want to be a Whale or a Mermaid? February 3, 2010
Ok, Ladies, just a reminder it is all about your perspective! Recently, in a large city in Australia , an advertising poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym. It said, “This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?” A middle-aged woman, whose physical characteristics did [...] […]

The Health Bill

I’m tired of being told so many different stories.

Health care means everything from a free ride to the end of life as we know it. That’s one erporter says from the next. So it is time for us to read it and think and review the facts for ourselves.
This is how it starts off:
“The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will ensure that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care and will create the transformation within the health care system necessary to contain costs.” Sounds to good to be true.
I know when my mother and aunt were in Mexico and Aunt Grace got ill, she went to a hospital and there was no charge and the care was excellent. I have family in Canada and they do not have a problem with the Health care system. No system is perfect. The one we have has so many people with no coverage. I have friends here who have no insurance, just seem to fall between the cracks. It is hard to just get by and pray you will never get ill.
Therefore I decided to read some of the bill myself.
If you want to make up your own mind you may take your time and do some reading.

Peace and Blessings
