The Seven Basic Principles in Huna
As witnessed in the Bible

Ike:

The world is what you think it is.
What you believe the world to be is what you will experience.

“This is the day the Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

“And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matt. 21:22)
Proverbs 15:13 (Mark 5:34)  (Mark 11:23) (Mark 11:24) (Luke 7:50) (Luke 8:48)
(Luke 6:38) (Proverbs 23:7) (Matt. 4:17AV) (Matt. 8:13) (Matt. 9:22) (Matt. 9:29)

Kala:

There are no limits
The Universe of our God is infinite

Matt. 6:8: (Matt. 6:14) (Matt. 17:20)   (Matt. 18:18)
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” (Matt. 7:7)
“All things are possible to him that believeth.” (Mark 9:23)
“With God all things are possible.” (Mark 12:27)

“ And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; For with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27

Makia:

Energy flows where your attention goes.

What you resist, persists.

The energy of resisting actually gives energy to the very thing you resist.

(Matt. 6:21) (Matt. 7:12) (Matt. 13:12) (Matt. 7:1AV) (Mark 4:24) (Mark 4:25)
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34)

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Manawa:

Now is the moment of power

Now is where life happens.

“So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” (Matt. 6:34AV)
(Matt. 10:7) (Matt. 15:28) (John 4:53) (Ephesians 5:15-16)

Aloha:

To love is to be happy with.  Aloha is the word for love.

The root ‘alo’ means “to be with, to share and experience, here and now.”

The root ‘oha’ means “affection, joy.”

The root ‘alo’ also means, “to be in the presence of” The root ‘ha’ means “sacred breath of creation of life, spirit, God’s life force

To the Hawaiian of old, Aloha meant “God in us.”

Aloha also neatly encompasses the golden rule…”do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

“Happy (blessed) are the humble (poor in spirit), for the kingdom of heaven is theirs; happy are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted; happy are they who are patient (the meek), for they shall inherit the earth; happy are the upright, for they shall be satisfied; happy are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy; happy are the pure in heart, for they shall see God; happy are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God; happy are those who are persecuted for being and doing right, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven; happy are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely on my account. Be glad and supremely joyful for your reward in heaven is strong and intense.” (Matt. 5:3-12AV)
(Matt. 5:44) (John 13:34) 1 Corinthians 13:4,7-8 (John 13:35)

Mana:

All power comes from within your own mind, body and Spirit.

(Matt. 15:11) (Mark 7:15, 21) (2 Corinthians 5:7) (1 John 5:4)

“The kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)

(Matt. 5:13 AV) (Galatians 5:22)
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” (Matt. 5:14-15) Matt. 7:15,16)  (Matt. 12:35)
“And he arose and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea ‘Peace, be still.’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them ‘Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?’”
